Meetings
Please try to attend your Church Meeting to have your say in the way your Church is run.
General ways to further assist the URCiC
- If you like visiting people for a chat and feel you could offer Pastoral Care please see your church secretary.
- Volunteers are always needed to run coffee mornings and events. Please see your fund-raising committee.
- If you would enjoy the lively atmosphere of our Children's activities why not come and help out - volunteers are always welcome !
- The URCiC needs all our talents. If you have any skills in the areas of administration, pastoral care or worship then speak to your Elders to see how you could help out.
Gift Aid
When you make a donation to the church, either as a one-off or in the regular collection, and if you are a tax-payer, please make sure that you sign up for Gift Aid. See your church treasurer for details. This is NOT a commitment to regular giving (though obviously we would like you to!) this just allows us to recover 28p in the £1 for however much you give.
If you need an end-of-year certificate for tax purposes then please see your treasurer or gift aid secretary as soon as possible.
Situations Vacant - Your Church needs YOU!
This is a time that those of you who are not yet Members might
like to make a full commitment – please see your Church Secretary or one of
the Ministers if you would like to discuss what Membership means. It is
also a time when some may feel that they could contribute to the life of the
Church by becoming Elders. If you are considering this please speak to an
existing Elder or the ministersto find out more.
St Christopher's would like to recruit some
new bellringers. You
need to be
at least 10 years old,
at least 4 foot 6 inches (140 cm) tall,
able to count to 6.
