The Church in Warden Hill comprises two modern church buildings on the southern edge of Cheltenham. Warden Hill URC is built next to a children’s play area and opposite a small parade of local shops. St Christopher's C of E is across the road at the end of the shops. The housing estate was built in the 1950’s and further housing developments have been added in the 1960’s and 80’s. The area attracts families, first time buyers as well as retired people.

On 16 January 2010 Warden Hill URC and St Christopher's entered into a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) Both churches have worked closely together for many years and the congregations support working together more closely. All services are now united and the venues alternate on a weekly basis between the two buildings (see services for more details.)
