Please support the valuable work done by the
Salvation Army by bringing an unwrapped present
for a child aged 9 and under or a gift voucher
for an over-15.
The C4 Children's Choir are giving their
annual Christmas Musical. This year it is
'Behind the Stable Door' by Sarah Baker and
Andrew Oxspring.
Why are a cat, a dog, an ox, a donkey, a
sheep and three camels all sitting outside a
stable on a chilly, starry night? Well, the
innkeeper’s wife has a bee in her bonnet and has
declared her stable ‘out-of-bounds’ to all
animals! Something very curious is happening
behind the closed door and the evicted animals
want to find out what it is (Running time
approx 45 mins)
Free Entry and Refreshments
Sheep Trail around
Prestbury
Knitted sheep will appear
in various places around the village 1st-18th
December. They will be named and participants
need to say where each sheep is located. Entry
forms will be available from the United Reformed
Church, Rowlands Chemists and St Mary’s Infant
and Junior schools.
Entry is free.
The sheep will be
auctioned at Prestbury URC Carol Service, from
3pm on 20th December. Every £10
raised will buy a real sheep for a family in
Ethiopia.
If you are unable to attend the service and have
set your heart on a sheep then please contact
Fiona Hall on 511143 to arrange a proxy bid.
Donkey Trail in
Montpellier
This year knitted Donkeys
will appear in the shops in Montpellier as part
of a Christmas quiz. The Donkeys will be
auctioned at the Crib Service on 24th December
at St Andrew’s.
